"And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's futures. And we are all mortal." John F. Kennedy 1963
Genesis of Michelle's Farm Song
When our dear friend and Weston neighbor, Richard Wiese, was scouting farm locations for his Emmy Award Winning television show, Born to Explore, he left Wells Hill Farm inspired to commission a song that spoke to all he loves about our local farm. He tapped Fairfield County musicians and friends, Raymond Bryant and Jason Pharr, (jayandray.com) to write and record "Michelle's Farm," which was featured on the Farm to Fork episode that aired in April of 2015. Our family still gets teary when we hear it played! Thanks Ray, Jason, Richard and the Born to Explore team.
